Chaste Christopher Inegbedion was in South Africa for the Global Child Forum in
commemoration of the World Humanitarian Summit. The event converges the most
important and influential regional and international decision makers for
dialogue and thought leadership on the legal, moral and commercial case for
investing in coming generations.
Chaste
was sponsored by Rwanda Air, as one of the proud Nigeria leading the African
delegation through the South Africa events which commemorates Nigeria’s post
centenary and her active role in the United Nations to advance children’s
rights in support of the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child, her 70th
Celebration and SDGs Implementation.
The
distinguished delegate also throw lights on Nigeria’s role in the economic
growth of South Africa, while also creating an opportunity for a renewed
partnership between the Nigerian Government, Business Leaders, and Social
Entrepreneurs within South Africa. According to “A world at school global youth ambassador”, Chaste Inegbedion, “the
program touched all sectors - business, governments, civil society and
academia. Africans have the opportunity and the obligation to take on an
increased responsibility for the future”.
Chaste also said “it is imperative that as the world gathers for the Global Child Forum – the overarching objective which is to inspire individuals to take action that will help change the world for the better. It’s on this premise that we have collaborated with public spirited platforms to put Nigeria on the map during this symbolic forum.”
The delegation of visiting social entrepreneurs and economic leaders also had in attendance in the presence of Global Child Forum honorary Patrons H.E. Dr. Graça Machel, H.R.H. Princess Sofia of Sweden, H.E. Councillor Kgosientso Ramokgopa, Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane, H.E. Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, Chairperson, African Union Commission, Ms. Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Founder, Princess of Africa Foundation and other distinguished Global Institutions Representatives.
Chaste took part in the ‘Action Lab Session’.’ Connecting our Children in a Digital World – Dangers and Possibilities’ He also embarked on a Corporate Sustainability Outreach to Nedbank, Dalberg, South Africa Human Rights Commission and Baker Mc Kenzie. Baker Mc Kenzie won the International Law Firm of the Year as well as the CSR Award of the Year and were also highly recommended in Competition Law at the Africa Legal Award on the 16th of October 2015. We were hosted by Bridgett Majola, a representative of the Law Firm and a member of Junior Chamber International in South Africa.
Chaste, a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI) in Nigeria Lagos Metropolitan is lending his voice to one of its own, Paschal Dike as Candidate for the 2016 JCI World President during the JCI World Congress which will hold in the City of Kanazawa, Japan from November 3 to 8, 2015.Over 10,000 delegates from more than 100 countries will attend the congress and he needs the Sponsorship of Public Spirited Brands & Individuals to achieve his travel objective and be part of the Nigeria team rooting for Paschal Dike to break the long existing jinx and see her flag fly high.

In 2012, Chaste
inspired the Save Pwashikai Nideno Campaign - The historic Road to Recovery of
a Five-Year old mutilated girl who refused to die in a dung village in Adamawa
State. Also in 2013 and 2014, he was recognized and awarded by the Universal
Peace Federation (An NGO with special consultative status at the United Nations
Economic and Social Council) as a UPF Ambassador for Peace and got a surprise
listing in a high powered global listing as ‘A World at School Global Youth
Ambassador’.

impacted various charities such as, Holy Family Home for the Elderly, Patrick
Language and Speech Centre (Children Living with Autism), Lagos State
Motherless Home, Bethesda Home for the Blind, Lagos Cheshire Home for the
Handicapped, Pacelli School for the Blind, Wesley School of the Hearing
Impaired and Down Syndrome Foundation.

passionate about working with special needs children on entrepreneurship using
technology.
