ROLE MODELS ROCKS MUSHIN
Role Models rocks Mushin!
Mushin in Lagos saw a day to rival a thousand nights as there were no hold barred: the weather set in a brighter day to celebrate the Nigeria mentoring month, martin Luther king junior day and the brown benefit birthday of Chaste ‘Softley’ Chris Inegbedion .
A maiden 3-in-1 benefit bash, Creative Five World has whetted the appetite of the students of the Nigeria premier college who now look forward to these events with so much fervor, understandably so! On a phone conversation one of the speakers(mentor) at the event; Atim Ikpeme of champion newspaper expressed a positive shock at the response of the many students who milk her speech for what it worthy and the rest of the mentors such as Adebola Williams of the future awards, Debola Lewis of yvent kouture, Chuks Nwanne of Guardian Newspaper, Sandra Ajayi of Ovation, Seyi Martins of Superscreen and other distinguished guests who had left their business in its prime hours to pass it on, inspire and share their experiences with the students. Those words happen to be the primary focus of the Nigeria mentoring month. Onifade Jumoke, an intern of C5W announced with delight to the media.
The noon segment of the event was the thanksgiving service of the celebrant Chaste Inegbedion who shares the same day with the great hero and dreamer; martin Luther king, and as community service day was in the offering to mark chaste usual tradition who last year made a charitable gesture at the Lagos Cheshire Home for the handicapped led guests such as Abiola Adebajo of Evergreens who donated the cake, and Celine Memo of 7th heaven spa who earlier gave a spectacular experience to the celebrant among many distinguished brown hearted Nigerians with birthday mate; His Eros to volunteer their time to present donations to the Regina mundi catholic church holy family home for the elderly. Sandra Okeene of Next Page Productions led the cake cutting ceremony with the elders. The home of the elderly was pleased and showered encomiums on the guests and presented a lovely card to the celebrants and the guests for honoring them.
We thank our supporters; ok pen, ok foods, Barbara Ehi-iden, Lizzy Seriki, Azuka Ogujuiba, volunteers, Inegbedion family, Fagbemi’s and Dynamix on TV in twin with Elite World. The event was put together by monabellucci events. It took a life of its own and the fireball it ignited in terms of manpower hours, cooperate begging, creativity displayed and countless other offshoots are too many to mention. We believe that MENTORING and COMMUNITY SERVICE has set the stage for a fresh Nigeria @ 50… keep your ears to the ground and LETS GET GENEROUS IN TIME. CHASTE ‘SOFTLEY’ of C5W concluded in its remarks about CREATIVE FIVE WORLD
MLK day was celebrated by C5W to mark non-violence in the spirit of giving and also the elderly home was chosen to raise awareness on the fact that the oldies need the young as much as the young need the oldies by catering for them with foods and unparalleled love since material wealth is now the measure of success, money bags and the nouveau riche have displaced the elderly from their elderly status and place them at the lower string of the society. Life is a matter of mutual respect and benefit.
