This is to announce the release of a brand new and
groundbreaking scripted drama series, Before 30 in Nigeria.
About Before 30
Before 30 is a Drama series centered around four women
living in Lagos and the pressures they face to be married before they turn 30
years old. Their stories are told through the eyes of the lead character Temi
Coker (DamilolaAdegbite) through voice over. Nkem (Beverly Naya) plays the sexy
career woman who believes men are simply playthings. Aisha (Meg Otanwa) is the
conflicted northern housewife who is married to a bliionare. Ama (AneeIcha) is
the sweet and cheerful friend and the youngest in the group.
The show aims to shed some light on the issues the average
single Nigerian woman faces daily in her quest to become a wife. Each character
covers various social, physical, economic, religious and cultural aspects of
the Nigerian woman, thereby creating a cast that everyone can relate to in some
way.

Release
Before 30 is shot edited and ready to be released on the
22nd of March 2015. So far, many channels have shown interest in carrying the
show. The following channels will be airing the show : All Africa Magic
Channels, Ebony Life, Silverbird, ON TV, Sound City*, Cool TV, Oh TV, (Sky Uk)
with Online Distribution platforms in view. It will also be premiering to a
private audience on the 13th of March to honor stakeholders and sponsors.
About Us
Nemsia Studios is a marketing agency based in Lagos, which
has had great interest in creating new and exciting content at international
standards for the African Market. Hence, the birth of Nemsia Films with Before
30 being its flagship project.
Production
Before 30 began pre-production in March 2012 with open
casting calls that saw over 300 actors audition. 6 months of painstaking
searching within and beyond the shores of Nigeria found the four best actresses
to take on the leading roles in the show and by June 2014 a final cast was
decided on, shooting began in February 2014 and ended April of the same year.
