Women in Social Enterprise- West Africa (WISE-West Africa), a collation of Female Social Entrepreneurs who drive social innovation and transformation in various fields including education, health, environment and enterprise development has announced the maiden installment of its novel platform to celebrate International Day of the Girl-Child and also raise awareness about the 58 million out of school children in the world, most especially girls.



This edition marks the UN International Day of the Girl-Child celebration in Nigeria this Saturday, 11 October 2014. The #GirlsWithTheOrangeBook is presented in partnership with the ‘A World at School’ and inspired by the W-Community of Access Bank.


“The first edition would be a transformation,” says the Project Lead of WISE, Ebele Enebeli. “Leading Female Advocates who are Nigerian-Internationals from across the world would engage with us live in a 4 Hours No-Barred Conversation as we embrace the solutions, reflections of #BringBackOurGirl campaign, impact of securing and educating the Girl-Child.  So, our partners at BudgIT will deliver data analysis, visualization using an array of tools such as videos, illustrations, etc.  around the conversation.
