The event, tagged “Thank God its First Thursday (TG-1ST-T)” is a ‘Party for a Purpose’ that will take place on Thursday September 1st, 2011 from 7pm to 9pm at AUN Club House located at Lamido Zubairu Way opposite Conoil Filling Station Yola-Town.

Charity Lounge is a unique monthly opportunity to consolidate efforts to bring meaningful change. This month is marked with an ‘Orange and White’ theme. Guests are encouraged to wear the best of white outfits, adorned with culture, orange ribbons and all things sparkling. The September Edition adds a Cultural theme in celebration of our cultural heritage tagged “I am cultured”. The venue will also be lavished in cultural décor, complimenting the ‘Cultural Orange & White’ theme of the evening Thank God it is 1st Thursday (TG-1ST-T).
Creative Five World Company are proud to present Media Greats Abba Tahir (Assistant Vice President, Communications of the American University of Nigeria) and Maijama’a Adamu (Chief Press Secretary to the Adamawa State Governor) as headliners of the ceremony where they will be inducted into the community hall of fame. These Media Greats continue to apply their creative, inventive and innovative talents to contribute, in no small measure, to building and shaping the ever evolving, growing and exciting Yola community and the Nigerian media. We are proud and privileged to duly recognize their contributions by honoring them with the C5W special recognition induction certificate.
Last month’s proud host of the August Visitor Edition of CL, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Dean of Students at AUN, Dr.Byron Bullock, a name synonymous with a Bigger Heart of the Brown Heart Foundation, will present the prestigious certificates to the new inductees.

Charity Lounge is a second for the entire Nigeria-International based in Yola, Adamawa state capital. The event is all about creating credible media driven platforms through which the elite in the state can engage themselves and a purpose built vehicle to transcend all pressing issues in the Yola Community. It will be a monthly elite affair on every 1st Thursdays and entry is by invite only.
