Last week, over 72hours of NO NETWORK was experienced on the network due to a fire that gutted one of its base stations in bauchi ( A source in the GLOWORLD who pleaded anonymity informed us) this affected also the GPRS network ...as at the time of publishing,the Glo Modem is yet to pick up.
On the GLO rock and rule contest in yola,one of the contestants Halima(not real name) showed us an sms from 08055575600 17:17:29 27-03-2011 that reads" Good evening, we are sorry to inform you that the auditioning and event proper for 'Glo Rock n Rule' has been postponed indefinitely due to election,Adamawa state called to our attention that they cannot assure us on security matter. pls, we are sincerely sorry for all the incovenient we might have caused you." the text concluded with a clarification to call the number.
